ENGINEER CONTINUOUS DELIVERY OF EMBEDDED SW
The Chassis & Safety division develops and produces integrated active and passive driving safety technologies as well as products that support vehicle dynamics. The product portfolio ranges from electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems to sensors, advanced driver assistance systems, airbag electronics and sensorics as well as electronic air suspension systems all the way to windscreen washer systems and headlight cleaning nozzles. The focus lies on a high level of system competence and the networking of individual components. Thus products and system functions are developed along the SensePlanAct chain of effects. They form the foundation for automated driving. Chassis & Safety employs more than 43,000 people worldwide and generated sales of approximately €9.0 billion in 2016.
For their location in Frankfurt, the company is looking for an Engineer Continuous Delivery of Embedded SW.
The holder of the job will be responsible for the following accountabilities:
- Development of the continuous integration / delivery workflow
- Implementation of internal hands-on trainings in Frankfurt and at the worldwide locations
- Development of the continuous integration / delivery environment «Automotive Software Factory» consisting of technologies GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Artifactory
- Working in the agile Scrum team
- Alignment of requirements and concepts with the departments
Required training and experience:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical Eng., Informatics, Computer Science, SW Eng.)
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing a similar role.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as: Java, C ++
- Experience with at least one scripting language, such as: Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, PHP
- Knowledge of agile methods, e.g. SCRUM are desirable
- Very good to good knowledge in the Git / GitHub, Jenkins or similar technologies
- Open to relocate to Frankfurt.
Soft Skills & Language
- Very good proficiency in English language
- A methodical-didactic skill as well as presentation and communication skills
