DATA SCIENTIST

Responsibilities:
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers.
- Exploit structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to
- Design, develop, produce and support ad hoc analytical data tools to track performance spanning all aspects of the product and service operational and technical performance
- Build mathematical models and automated machine learning tools to analyze and optimize product behaviors / business processes providing actionable insights in real-time.
- Support root cuase analysis on business critical needs
- Define reporting universe and visualisation tool implementation to support evolution of reporting –Drive requirements to build/ evolve Big data/BI infrastructure and presentation tools

Requirements:
- Master’s degree required, preferred in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
- >5 years of experience in an analytical / Data Science role:-Application of Statistics, Predictive Modelling, Data Mining/ Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to business problems
- Dash boarding, reporting and data visualization tools/ techniques
- Demonstrated experience applying Data Science methodologies to business problems and hands-on experience in delivering specific in-house predictive solutions/root cause analysis.
- Experience analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets, including structured and unstructured involving data gathering, data cleaning, data mining, and data visualization.
- Familiarity scripting languages: R, Python, or Scala.
- Experience using SQL to query databases.
- A proven track record of weaving data and analysis into a compelling format that is client and solutions driven and easily digestible.
