ENGINEER MODEL-BASED SW, SIGNALS & STATES

The Chassis & Safety division develops and produces integrated active and passive driving safety technologies as well as products that support vehicle dynamics. The product portfolio ranges from electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems to sensors, advanced driver assistance systems, airbag electronics and sensorics as well as electronic air suspension systems all the way to windscreen washer systems and headlight cleaning nozzles. The focus lies on a high level of system competence and the networking of individual components. Thus products and system functions are developed along the SensePlanAct chain of effects. They form the foundation for automated driving. Chassis & Safety employs more than 43,000 people worldwide and generated sales of approximately €9.0 billion in 2016.

For their location in Frankfurt, the company is looking for an Engineer Model-Based SW, Signals & States.

The holder of the job will be responsible for the following accountabilities:

  • Modeling & Simulation with MathWorks Tools (Matlab / Simulink) and automatic code generation according to ISO26262 and SPICE
  • Creation and coordination of software requirements with internal development partners and customers
  • Adaptation of the SW component architecture, coordination and definition of the SW interfaces between the software components
  • Transfer of the physical conversion into a SW implementation according to the Autosar standard
  • Testing the software components and integration into the overall Software project.

Required training and experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical Eng., Informatics, Computer Science, SW Eng.)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing a similar role.
  • Experience with embedded software
  • Good knowledge of the C programming language
  • Experiences in model-based development
  • Good knowledge of MathWorks tools (Matlab / Simulink)
  • Knowledge of driving dynamics
  • Open to relocate to Frankfurt.
