HEAD of DEVELOPMENT CASE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS (m/f/d)
Frankfurt (Germany) and / or Madrid (Spain)
For a financial software solutions company, based in Spain, Germany and Luxembourg, that provides innovative solutions for leading European financial institutions. It is known as a globally leading supplier for high-performance software solutions in the sectors of payment and money market transactions as well as securities and derivatives transactions. The company supports its clients on their course for growth by means of standardized or customized solutions in the field of digitalization, open banking, automation and simplification of business operations. It´s IT and business know-how is the basis for software solutions which continuously simplify the handling of complex and heterogeneous data landscapes/ IT architectures and thus, ensure the compliance with regulatory requirements.
Role and assigned tasks:
– Leading the development of workflow based, complex case management applications, supervising teams of Senior Developers, in Madrid and Frankfurt.
– Taking on responsibility in sub-areas of development
– Preparation and implementation of design and architecture for a sustainable and marketable solution (in cooperation with product managers and executives)
– Coordination of development tasks between the different teams to increase the integration
– Close coordination with product management as well as support and QA
Requirement profile:
Must Have:
– 5 years of experience as Team Leader/Development Manager
– 10 years of experience in development
– Experience managing multicultural teams in different countries
– Experience in design and development of complex web- based applications (backend and frontend), which includes workflow based and/or rule- based systems, ideally in the banking area (back office systems, accounting systems or similar)
– Experience in C++, Java, JavaScript or comparable programming languages
– Skills / Experience as a Software Architect
– Safe handling of Linux (developer tools, shell, compiler, …)
– Experience with database applications (SQL, database tuning)
– Experience with XML
– Solid verbal and written communication skills in English, or in English and German. Spanish skills are beneficial
– Willingness to travel, presentation skills, customer contact
Good to have:
– Experience with specialized processes in the financial industry, ideally in payment transactions
– Experience in the development of case management and /or ticketing systems
– Knowledge of SWIFT and /or ISO20022 standards
– Experience with the web development environment Sencha ExtJS
