JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER

WHAT YOU WILL GET
You will get a full time and permanent contract with an international company, with the chance to grow up and develop your career in the IT Field.
The salary package is 26.000 € gross a year as base salary, plus 3.000 € gross a year as bonus, 1.540 € a year as ticket restaurant and private health insurance.
The shift will be from 8am to 5pm or from 9am to 6pm Monday till Friday. With the possibility to work on the weekends in the future.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We are looking for a Talented JavaScript Developer in Python to join our team in the Google Maps project. Your main responsibility will be provide outstanding support for cutting edge products, solutions and APIs.
Minimum requirements:
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Ability to read and understand code, able to write code to reproduce customer problems (e.g. user provides a provide a method/function, and a candidate will have to troubleshoot it)
- Coding ability in Javascript is a requirement
- Coding ability in (at least one of) Python,Java or PHP is a requirement
- Familiar with web protocols (HTTP, TLS, etc)
- Familiarity with SQL (any dialect)
- Good troubleshooting skills, ability to use packet and protocol captures etc. Ability to read and understand logs and stack traces: provide a sample stack trace (fairly long one) and the candidate should guess from the stack trace what’s going on. Identify if a problem is caused by customer’s code, Google libraries or a standard Java library.
- Ability to write a regexp to grep logs with this stack trace or an error message is also a plus
- Ability to read and understand public facing documentation (Google developers website, stack overflow)
- User focus: ability to write clear customer communications, structure the troubleshooting next steps, provide workarounds where possible, and empathize to customer needs and pain points.
- Appetite to drive change in the tools, processes, and products to eliminate pain points at their root
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud products (App Engine, Amazon AWS or similar) is a plus. Coding ability in Java or Objective C
- Familiarity with modern API technologies (OAuth, HTTP RPCs)
- Mobile development – Android and/or iOS
- Experience in building web applications in PHP, Python, Java or .NET is preferred.
